A $195 cancellation fee per individual will be charged if registration is canceled less than one (1) week prior to the program. No cancellations will be accepted on the day of the program. Substitutions will be accepted.

Jon Burroughs, JD, MD, MBA, FACHE, FAAPL Short Biography:
Dr. Jon Burroughs is embarking upon his sixth professional career having been a professional pianist, mountain climbing guide/hiking guide author, emergency physician, healthcare administrator and governing board member, healthcare administrative expert and consultant, and now a healthcare attorney. He is a healthcare system expert and has participated in over 255 legal cases, written six healthcare administrative books (two of which were given James A. Hamilton national awards by the American College of Healthcare Executives), and serves on the national faculties of the American College of Healthcare Administration, the American Association for Physician Leadership, and the National Association Medical Staff Services. His goal is to help make healthcare a little safer and to focus on healthcare outcomes.
Anne Roberts, Esq., CPMSM, CPCS is a nationally recognized consultant, author, and speaker with over 25 years of experience in medical staff operations and strategic medical staff initiatives. She serves as a consulting/of counsel attorney at the medical malpractice trial firm Van Wey, Metzler & Williams in Dallas, TX, where she assists in representing patients harmed by medical negligence, including cases involving system-wide healthcare failures beyond individual practitioner conduct. Ms. Roberts helps lead a National Patient Safety Advocacy group formed by the attorneys and physician experts involved in the Christopher Duntsch (Dr. Death), including the district attorney that helped ensure his conviction. Her current efforts focus on advancing nationwide and state specific legislative reform to strengthen healthcare transparency and patient protection.
In her role as System Vice President of Medical Affairs Operations at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City, Ms. Roberts leads the development and execution of system-wide strategic medical staff initiatives. She partners closely with Chief Medical Officers and senior physician leaders to oversee key operational domains, including medical staff governance, peer review and practitioner performance management, credentialing, privileging, payer enrollment, regulatory compliance and practitioner data management.
